Outside, about 1 hour

Hand car wash in Los Angeles, from the roof down

We wash your car by hand in the driveway at home or in your row at work, and you don't have to wait with it.

LA Car Spa

On every visit

  • A written note of everything we did
  • We walk the car with you before we start
  • A one-hour arrival window
  • Missed something? We come back and put it right

A hand wash, done where the car is already parked. You don't drive anywhere or sit in a waiting room while it happens.

What the Outside visit covers

  • Hand wash, from the roof down
  • Wheels and tires cleaned
  • Door jambs wiped
  • Windows and mirrors, dried by hand

The inside isn't part of this visit. For both on one visit, choose the whole car, or ask for the inside on its own.

When the outside is due

  • A layer of dust and pollen across the hood and the roof
  • Brake dust darkening the front wheels
  • Small handprints where the kids open the back doors
  • Splashes of road dirt along the lower doors
  • Door jambs that leave a gray line on your sleeve

When we come

  1. At work, we collect the key from you where you told us. If you can't be there, leave it where we agree.
  2. We wash from the roof down to the wheels, then clean the wheels and tires and wipe the jambs.
  3. The windows and mirrors come last, dried by hand.

What decides the price

  • The size of the car: a car, a family car with a third row, or a truck or van
  • The outside on its own, or the whole car
  • Another car at your address, priced with this one as one visit

The price is agreed before we come, and the price we agreed is still the price you pay. If the car needs more than we agreed, you decide before we do any of it.

What a wash leaves behind

A bird dropping or a smear of sap that sits on the car through a hot week can leave a dull mark in the paint. A wash takes off fresh dirt and droppings. Hardened sap, or a mark that has gone into the paint, can stay after the wash, and it goes on the note.

What you come back to

A car washed from the roof down, with clean door jambs and the glass dried by hand. Anything we noticed, like a chip in the windshield or a tire that looks low, is written down for you to decide on later. Nobody tries to sell you anything.

Questions about the outside

Will you come if it rains?

No. Rain moves the visit at no charge. We find the next dry day that suits you.

Can you wash a car in a building garage?

Tell us how we get in, and we'll check we can work there before we book. The same goes for a car behind a gate.

We have two cars. Can you do both?

Yes. Two cars at the same address make one visit, with one price for both, and each car gets its own note.

How it works

How a visit goes.

Every visit ends with a note like this one on your mirror, listing what we did and anything we noticed.

  1. Tell us about the car and where it sits.

The form takes about 2 minutes, or call us.

  2. We call you back with a price and a time.

Within 2 hours, Monday to Saturday between 8 in the morning and 6 in the evening. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

  3. We arrive in a one-hour window and walk the car with you.

We text when we're on the way. If you're out, we send photos of the car as we found it.

  4. We take our time, inside first, and leave the note.

It hangs on the mirror, with a copy sent to your phone. You pay once the visit is done.

Your car, where it already is.

Tell us about it and where it sits. We'll call you back with a price and a time.
