Inside, about 2 hours

Car interior cleaning in Los Angeles, where the car is parked

The inside is where you sit every day, so it gets most of our time. We clean it in your driveway at home or in your row at work.

LA Car Spa

On every visit

  • A written note of everything we did
  • We walk the car with you before we start
  • A one-hour arrival window
  • Missed something? We come back and put it right

A car that carries children or a dog collects the same things in the same places. Crumbs drop into the seat tracks and coffee dries in the cupholders. We work front to back, and the hard places get the same time as the open ones, like the gap beside the console and the bottom of each door pocket.

What the Inside visit covers

  • Seats vacuumed, seat tracks too
  • Carpets and floor mats vacuumed
  • Cupholders and door pockets wiped out
  • Dash, vents and inside glass

The outside is a separate visit. To have both done together, choose the whole car, which also lifts the child seats out and washes the mats.

A soft detailing brush lifts dried coffee from a cupholder in an SUV console, a gray cloth in the other hand, low sun through the open door.

When the inside is due

  • Crumbs in the seat tracks and around the base of a child seat
  • Sand gathered under the floor mats since the summer
  • A dried coffee ring in a cupholder
  • A film across the inside glass that makes the streetlights glare at night
  • Dust on the dash and in the vents of a car that sits outside all day

When we come

  1. We walk the car with you, and you point out what bothers you most, like a spill on the back seat or crumbs around a child seat.
  2. We work front to back, one row of seats at a time.
  3. When we finish, the note says what came out and what only got lighter.

What decides the price

  • The size of the car: a car, a family car with a third row, or a truck or van
  • Which visit you choose, the Inside visit or the whole car
  • Dog hair, a set-in stain or a smoke smell, which take longer

Tell us about any of those when you ask, and they go into the price we give you. The price is agreed before we come. If the car needs more than we agreed, you decide before we do any of it.

What stays as it is

Some stains are older than they look. We tell you before we start whether one will lift or only fade. Sun-faded plastic and burns stay as they are. A heavy smoke smell gets lighter and can need a second visit.

What you come back to

A cabin vacuumed and wiped front to back, the places that are hard to reach included. Anything we saw and left alone, like a loose trim clip or a stain we could only lighten, is written down for you to decide on later.

Questions about the inside

Should I empty the car before you come?

Take out valuables and anything you'd rather we didn't move. Leave the crumbs and the sand to us.

Do you lift out the child seats?

On the whole car, yes, and we clean the seat under them. The Inside visit cleans around them, so if the crumbs are underneath, choose the whole car.

What if you missed a spot?

Tell us within 48 hours of the visit. We come back at a time that suits you and put it right, at no charge.

How it works

How a visit goes.

Every visit ends with a note like this one on your mirror, listing what we did and anything we noticed.

  1. Tell us about the car and where it sits.

The form takes about 2 minutes, or call us.

  2. We call you back with a price and a time.

Within 2 hours, Monday to Saturday between 8 in the morning and 6 in the evening. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

  3. We arrive in a one-hour window and walk the car with you.

We text when we're on the way. If you're out, we send photos of the car as we found it.

  4. We take our time, inside first, and leave the note.

It hangs on the mirror, with a copy sent to your phone. You pay once the visit is done.

Your car, where it already is.

Tell us about it and where it sits. We'll call you back with a price and a time.
